Spoil Yourself Saturday: MUA Velvet Lip Laquer

Good morning, beautiful!
Today is Saturdaaaaaay! So if you have been working hard all week then you are delighted for it to finally be the weekend. So I had a bright idea; Spoil Yourself Saturday. I cannot pass anywhere that sells makeup or beauty products without getting something so I thought I would share them with you over your morning coffee so when your seeking some R&R in the shops later you can spoil yourself.
See what I did there? haha okay anyway!

This weeks treat is this absolutely steal of a find: MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer. I got this in Funk as it was the only colour I found.
I tore the packet with excitement!
Now this cost me £3 from Superdrug. Its from MUA (Make Up Academy). I'm really into matte lip colours, I always have been! I am forever trying lipstick formulas and overlay powders etc so I was intrigued when my sister hands me this and says "what does this do?" stumped. curious. intrigued. I had only seen a few lacquers like this like the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro or Lime Crime. You can get crayons, pencils and lipsticks promising a matte effect but I haven't seen something like this in a drug store!

It is a pretty sexy little tube! I wouldn't mind sliding this bad boy out of my purse in front of my girlfriends! Its got a frosted tube with a little black lid (as you can see). Its very pretty! This is a hot pink velvet colour from a line of 5 shades, one for every girl! (or outfit). If they were all in stock at the time I would've bought em all.

So this is some pretty trippy stuff okay? We called Coffee Break as soon as I got it just to have a closer look. I opened the tube and it looks like a gloss and it applies like a gloss but give it a couple munites and you can feel it drying out. Once its dry it ain't going anywhere! It didn't print onto my coffee mug, or smudge on my cake and my hair didn't get stuck in it either. I wore it for about 4 hours until I felt it needed freshening up so I wiped my lip balm over it. It didn't smudge or fade even with the balm on top!

Please excuse my chapped lips, they don't fair very well in the cold wintry weather :(

I'm spending my Saturday morning with my cousin and family for her birthday, who knows, maybe she'll get one for her birthday!
So that's all from me today, why don't you get you get out and treat yourself to this awesome lippy, for £3, you'd be daft not to!
